Background
In 2021 the pandemic brought me back to China, just in time for Comicup 28 in Shanghai, one of the biggest anime conventions. I took it as a chance to show my work.
Define
I made a 28-page doujinshi based on two characters from Attack on Titan. It’s a fantasy story that asks what would happen if the two were on the same side.
Ideate
I had to think about readers as well as my own taste, so I posted questionnaires in fan groups to find the topics people cared about most. The answer was dragons and dragon knights, and I built the story and characters around that.
